100 new ‘108-ambulance’ deployed in Rajasthan today

In Rajasthan, 100 new ambulances -108 are being planned for the help of the common man. Medical and Health Minister Kalicharan Saraf Jhalana flagged these ambulances from the State Health and Family Welfare Institute situated in the institutional area and flagged them for the respective districts.

Health Secretary and Mission Director Naveen Jain said that under the dial-am-ambulance service, a total of 1,442 vehicles including Emergency 108-Ambulance, Janani Express, base ambulance vehicle are operated.

He said that apart from these, the facilities of ambulances are being strengthened by adding 100 and new 108-ambulance vehicles instead of the neglected, unplugged ambulance vehicles of the service and the inability of the service.
